Designed, developed and crafted in Los Angeles. Shaina Mote is dedicated to fair, American-made production and since 2012 has centred their ethos and practices around supporting the local economy and nurturing the trades and skills found within the domestic garment manufacturing. Shaina Mote has built a solid base of family-run contractors and local craftsmen that are responsible for the long-lasting construction of every piece of clothing they make. From perfect cutting of fabric to deliberate sewing, finishing with French seams and dyeing, Shaina Mote's clothes are built to last by the people they personally know.

Similarly to rayon and other cellulose-based fibers, Acetate (and Triacetate) fabrics are made from wood fibers and undergo extensive and harsh chemical processing that also requires a lot of water. Yet since it is natural and renewable, it is a more eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based fabrics.

Returns
New Classics Studios will happily accept unwashed, unaltered and unworn merchandise with original tags attached for a full refund. If you live within Canada, the merchandise must be received within 20 business days from the date that the shipment was received. If you live outside Canada, the merchandise must be received within 30 business days from the date that the shipment was received.
Please note that we do not accept returns for fragrances (unless there is a problem with the manufacture) underwear, swimwear, jewelry, beauty, bodysuits, nail polishes, towels or made-to-order pieces.
