Founded in London in 2016, GOOD NEWS creates contemporary footwear designs using sustainable materials like organic cotton and recycled rubber made from old tires and rubber shoes. GOOD NEWS is always striving to improve the environmental and social sustainability of their shoes by decreasing their carbon, chemical and water footprint, while also caring for the people who make their shoes.
GOOD NEWS is committed to monitoring their supply chain to promote a fair trade and partnering with groups like Dream Catchers, Good Luck Shoes Project and United Shoe Recycle Company in order to donate old residual stock and samples to people in need in the UK, providing functional shoes to migrants and refugees arriving in Italy, and raising money for a children's dance troupe in Ikorodu, Lagos.
