VereVerto

Founded by Paige Smith and Consuelo Chozas in Los Angeles, VereVerto creates leather handbags—clutches, backpacks, saddles—that bridge luxury with functionality for the day-to-night city lifestyle. With a couple switches, a backpack becomes a handbag or an over-the-shoulder transforms into a fine evening clutch.

VereVerto designs celebrate detail, flawless functionality, and most of all, vehement rejection of frill. Consuelo travels the world over in search of the best, such as ancient tanneries in the Spanish Castilla region and boisterous manufacturing workshops in Souther Spain. The combination of their dual skills ensures the highest quality in design, functionality and materials.
Break your bag in — With no harsh chemicals used on the leather, the result is a stiffer bag. Yet, over time it will soften and break in. The more you use it, it will soften in the areas you need most.
Naturally unique — Intense chemical processes alter leather's natural appearance. With natural dyes, you are able to see the imperfections of the cow's hide. The natural state of leather includes wrinkles, discoloration and small indentations—all features unique to each bag.
Manufacturing partners — Spanish manufacturers have some of the richest history in leatherworking. VereVerto partners with a family run business in the south of Spain that has passed down their techniques for hundreds of years. They work closely with their factory to develop high end designs that not only function well but have the quality stitching that they guarantee for a lifetime.
